A white dial is where the Sky-Dweller layout is easiest to read. The month appears in 12 small windows around the edge, and the window of the current month turns red, which stands out sharply against the white surface. The annual calendar handles 30- and 31-day months on its own and needs one correction a year, at the end of February. Home time sits on the central rotating 24-hour disc, read against the red triangle at 12 o’clock, while the main hands show local time.

The fluted bezel is the control panel of the watch. Turning the Ring Command bezel to one of three positions selects the date, the local hour or the reference time, and the crown then sets only that function. The white gold look bezel frames the bright dial in a cool metal tone.
