Rolex Sky-Dweller Rose Gold Slate Jubilee Design and Clone Movement

Slate is the quiet option among the rose gold-tone Sky-Dwellers. The grey sunray dial cools down the warm case, so the watch reads less flashy than with the white or chocolate dial, and the rose gold-tone hands and index surrounds stand out cleanly against it. In low light the dial turns almost charcoal; in daylight the brushing shows a soft metallic grey. The white 24-hour numerals and the red month marker keep the calendar easy to read.

The automatic clone Cal. 9002 drives the annual calendar, the date under the Cyclops lens and the 24-hour disc. The bezel works like the original: first stop for the date, second for local time, third for the reference time. The calendar handles 30- and 31-day months by itself and needs one adjustment a year, after February.
