Two travel complications share this dial. For the annual calendar a ring of 12 small apertures runs around the edge, and the one for the current month turns red, which is easy to spot on black; the date asks for a manual nudge just once a year, when February is over. Home time lives on the rotating 24-hour disc in the centre, pointed out by a red triangle under the crown logo, while the main hour hand keeps local time. The Ring Command bezel has three positions — date, local time and reference time — and the crown only adjusts whichever one you have dialled in.

On the black dial, the markers, hands and red month marker stand out clearly. The polished center links of the Jubilee bracelet echo the white gold look bezel and make the watch dressier than the same dial on an Oyster.
